9 When they had crossed, Elijah said to Elisha, “Tell me, what can I do for you before I am taken from you?”
“Let me inherit a double portion of your spirit,” Elisha replied.
10 “You have asked a difficult thing,” Elijah said, “yet if you see me when I am taken from you, it will be yours—otherwise, it will not.”
11 As they were walking along and talking together, suddenly a chariot of fire and horses of fire appeared and separated the two of them, and Elijah went up to heavenin a whirlwind.

26 I am writing these things to you about those who are trying to lead you astray. 27 As for you, the anointing you received from him remains in you, and you do not need anyone to teach you. But as his anointing teaches you about all things and as that anointing is real, not counterfeit—just as it has taught you, remain in him.

4 You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world.5 They are from the world and therefore speak from the viewpoint of the world, and the world listens to them.

A psalm of Asaph.
1 God presides in the great assembly;
he renders judgment among the “gods”:
he renders judgment among the “gods”:
5 “The ‘gods’ know nothing, they understand nothing.
They walk about in darkness;
all the foundations of the earth are shaken.
They walk about in darkness;
all the foundations of the earth are shaken.
6 “I said, ‘You are “gods”;
you are all sons of the Most High.’
7 But you will die like mere mortals;
you will fall like every other ruler.”
you are all sons of the Most High.’
7 But you will die like mere mortals;
you will fall like every other ruler.”
8 Rise up, O God, judge the earth,
for all the nations are your inheritance.
for all the nations are your inheritance.

1 No student can be greater than his teacher
As long as I feel I need Samuel Lee as a teacher and must copy him, I can not be greater than Samuel Lee the best I can do is be a perfect copy and it is possible to even fall short of that.
But I do not need Samuel Lee to teach me, I can learn on my own and exercise my own conscience rather than deferring moral judgment to Samuel Lee.
By training myself to distinguish good from evil and exercising my own conscience instead of deferring moral judgment to a third party, I can become like God, a partaker of the divine nature and be a spiritual person who exercises judgment.
